Shinkansen service resumes 10 hours after maintenance train derails

Shinkasen bullet train in Osaka, the western city of Japan, were restored 10 hours after crash with other train, affecting about 60,000 people including foreigner traveler. This is the biggest news in Japan today.

The service between Osaka and Himeji stations resume at 2:30 pm. After the first shinkasen had been fixed. Therefore, it made some shinkasen station resumed again. However, a total of 85 trains on the Osaka line and Tokaido line, the line that connects Tokyo with Osaka, still cannot restore and this is the main line for Osaka.

Tatsuya Mano, a JR west official in charge of shinkansen administration came out for apologized by saying,” We are very sorry that we have caused a situation in which the trains did not run from the morning at a time when many people are traveling during the summer holidays.’‘

In my opinion, there are many people that affect with this situation, but Mr. Tatsuya Mano just say sorry .I think it not enough for Japanese people at least ,he must pay for the injured people.
